Medical Bill Reader does not sell personal information or consumer health data and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our Data Practices

Medical bills can contain sensitive health, identity, insurance, and financial information. Our current practices are:

  • We do not sell any personal information to third parties
  • We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • We do not sell medical bill content, health data, or billing codes or disclose them for advertising
  • Uploaded medical bills pass through application memory, are disclosed to Anthropic and hosting infrastructure to provide the requested analysis, and are not intentionally stored in our own database
  • We do not use health data for advertising targeting
  • We do not send medical bill content or analysis results to analytics or advertising systems

Analytics and Third Parties

Google Analytics, advertising pixels, and other third-party analytics code are disabled on every page. We do not send filenames, medical bill content, report text, upload or analysis activity, or payment state to analytics or advertising systems.

How to Opt Out

Even though we do not sell personal information, you can take these steps to further control your data:

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): Enable GPC in your browser. We automatically treat that signal consistently with our current default: sale, sharing for behavioral advertising, and optional tracking remain off. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
  • Contact us directly: Email privacy@medicalbillreader.com or visit our Contact page to submit a privacy request. We respond within the time required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Where an applicable privacy law grants them, rights may include:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
  • Delete your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Applicable States

Rights and exceptions vary by jurisdiction and may depend on whether a law applies to this service or request. We accept privacy requests from any visitor and will honor rights required by applicable law.
